Federer withdraws from Italian Open

(ANSA) - Rome, May 17 - Tennis great Roger Federer has had to pull out of the Italian Open due to an injury to his right leg, the tournament said on Friday.
    The Swiss was touching his leg during his win over Borna Coric on Thursday.
    He had been set to take on Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals.
    "I say 'arriverderci' to Rome and hope to see you again next year," said the 37-year-old.
