Paris 1st, Innerhofer 2nd in Bormio

(ANSA) - Bormio, December 28 - Italy's Dominik Paris came first in the Bormio downhill on the tough Stelvio course while countryman Christof Innerhofer was second Friday.
    Paris notched a time of 1.55.21 and Innerhofer 1.55.57.
    Switzerland's Beat Feuz came third in 1.55.73.
    "The toughest pistes are my bread and butter, the ones I perform best on, the ones I like and which exalt me", said Paris, 29, from alto Adige.
    Friday's win was Paris's 10th World Cup downhill win, and his third on the demanding Stelvio course, considered one of the world's hardest along with the mythical Streif at Kitzbühel.
