Title race not over says Juve's Allegri

Difficult to reach Turin giants admits Inter's Spalletti

(ANSA) - Turin, December 6 - Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri dismissed talk that his side have already got this season's Serie A title in the bag.
The Turin giants, who are aiming for an eighth consecutive scudetto, have 40 points from 14 games, having dropped just two points so far.
They are eight points ahead of second-placed Napoli and 11 ahead of third-placed Inter, who they face on Friday at home.
"I read (in the papers) that Juventus have killed of the title race," Allegri told a press conference.
"That's not true. You win the title in May. You need between 86 and 90 points to win the scudetto, so nothing is decided before 30 matches and we have only played 14 so far.
"We still have to play two head-to-heads with Inter and one with Napoli and that's just for starters.
"It will be a battle". Inter coach Luciano Spalletti, however, admitted that Juve would take some catching.
"There's a big distance in the standings, making it difficult to catch them up," Spalletti said. "The good news it that closing the gap depends on us".
