Worst for my family says Ronaldo

(ANSA) - Paris, October 29 - Cristiano Ronaldo says in an interview to be published by France Football Tuesday that the worst part of a US woman's claim he raped her in 2009 was for his family.
    "I explained everything to my partner. My son Cristiano Jr is too small to understand. The worst thing is for my mother and my sisters. They are shocked and at the same time very angry," he says.
    "It's the first time I have seen my mother and my sisters in this state," he says in the interview, parts of which were excerpted Monday.
    Kathryn Mayorga says Ronaldo raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009.
    He denies the charge.
