(ANSA) - Rome, October 29 - A delegation from Rome soccer
club Lazio will join Rome Mayor Virgia Raggi on a visit to
Auschwitz on Sunday, sources told ANSA on Monday.
A year ago some Lazio fans caused widespread outrage by
attaching stickers of Anne Frank in an AS Roma shirt and
scrawling anti-Semitic abuse at Rome's Stadio Olimpico.
A group from the club including officials and youth-team
players will join Raggi and around 190 students who will visit
the Nazi death camp and talk to Holocaust survivors.
