(ANSA) - Rome, October 22 - Juventus's perfect start to the Serie A season was halted when the champions were held 1-1 in Turin by Genoa on Saturday, while Inter beat city rivals AC Milan thanks to a stoppage-time header by Mauro Icardi.
Juve, who are aiming for an eighth straight scudetto, have 25 points from nine games after Cristiano Ronaldo's goal was cancelled out by Genoa's Daniel Bessa.
Second-placed Napoli thrashed Udinese 3-0 away to narrow the gap to four points. Inter are two points further back in third.
Fourth-placed Lazio won 2-0 at Parma. Fiorentina, sixth, were held 1-1 at home by Cagliari.
Roma, seventh, suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat at home to SPAL.
Milan are 12th, 13 points from the top spot, after the derby defeat. Fifth-placed Sampdoria take on Sassuolo, eighth, later on Monday.
