(ANSA) - Bologna, August 23 - Former European heavyweight
boxing champion Francesco Cavicchi died in his home town of
Bologna on Thursday, the Italian Boxing Federation said.
Some 60,000 fans watched Cavicchi take the crown from
Germany's Heinz Neuhaus on June 26, 1955.
