(ANSA) - Bardonecchia, May 25 - Briton Chris Froome snatched
the Giro d'Italia's virtual lead in a sensational breakaway on
the highest climb of this year's 101st edition.
Froome had 33 seconds on Dutchman Tom Dumoulin with just
over 10 km to go.
Britain's Simon Yates collapsed.
