(ANSA) - Rome, August 23 - Vincenzo Nibali lost ground to
Vuelta a Espana leader Chris Froome in the fifth stage
Wednesday.
Nibali is now sixth, 36 seconds behind the British four-time
and reigning Tour de France winner who is bidding to become the
third man to do the Tour-Vuelta double.
Another Italian, Fabio Aru, is seventh, 49 seconds behind
Froome.
Today's stage was won by Kazakh Alexey Lutsenko.
