(ANSA) - Milan, January 31 - Italy centre back Andrea
Ranocchia's move from Inter Milan to Hull City was made official
when the English club announced it Tuesday.
Ranocchia, 28, will be in Hull on loan for the rest of
the season, said "I'm very happy to be at Hull City which plays
in the best championship in the world.
"I want to give my contribution to the team and it's a great
opportunity for me to play in the Premier League," he said,
adding that he hoped to play in the "big game" against
Manchester United Wednesday night.
The rangy defender, who has 21 Italy caps, has been on loan
to Sampdoria this season.
