(ANSA) - Rome, January 10 - FIFA said Tuesday that its
council voted unanimously in favour of a proposals to expand the
World Cup from 32 teams to 48 from 2026.
The group stage will be made up of 16 groups of three teams,
following by a knockout stage for the remaining 32.
