(ANSA) - Rome, August 30 - A majority of Romans would like
the Italian capital to host the 2024 Olympics according to a
poll out Tuesday.
Some 51.9% are in favour of hosting the Games while 32.5%
are against according to the poll from think tank CENSIS.
Rome's bid faces opposition from Mayor Virginia Raggi who
thinks the money could be better spent in other ways.
