Bielsa quits Lazio before starting

(ANSA) - Rome, July 8 - Marcelo Bielsa has written to Lazio to say that he will not take over the Rome side, ANSA sources said on Friday. The former Chile coach was expected to land in Rome on Saturday and his contract with the club was deposited with the Italian League on July 1. As a result Simone Inzaghi, who was in charge of the side in the latter part of last season, is set to return as head coach. Lazio intend to sue Argentine Bielsa, the sources said.
