(ANSA) - Pinerolo, May 26 - Dutchman Steven Kruijswijk kept the leader's pink jersey after the 18th stage of the Giro d'Italy Thursday, a 240km run from Muggiò to Pinerolo.
    Kruijswijk still has a 3' lead over Colombia's Esteban Chaves and 3'23" over Spain's Alejandro Valverde.
    Italy's Vincenzo Nibali is fourth, 4'43" behind.
    Italy's Matteo Trentin won the stage, beating breakaway companions Moreno Moser and Gianluca Brambilla in a three-man sprint. The trio broke away with another 21 riders after seven kilometres. It is the fifth Italian stage win this year.
