(ANSA) - Rome, April 27 - Six-time Olympic champion
Velantina Vezzali bowed out of competition Tuesday by winning
the women's team foil silver medal at the world championships in
Rio de Janeiro, behind Russia.
Vezzali, 42, a 16-time world champion, is expected to
pursue a career in politics after joining the Scelta Civica
party in 2013.
