'I'll give 100%'

(ANSA) - Varese, April 13 - New AC Milan coach Cristian Brocchi said Wednesday he was approaching his first top-level coaching job with humility.
"I'll play my chance with the utmost determination and humility, I'm not afraid but very calm," said the former Milan midfielder, who replaced Sinisa Mihajlovic Tuesday. He said "there is a risk, but you have to have the humility to understand that if things were to go wrong you would have to go back to paths that you've already trod".
Milan announced Tuesday that Mihajlovic had been sacked, and Brocchi put in charge of the team until the end of the season. The seven-time European champions are sixth in Serie A with 49 points after Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Juventus, who top the table with 76 points. Brocchi had been at the helm of the club's top academy side. Serb Mihajlovic, who was appointed by Milan in the closed season after a impressive stint at Sampdoria, led the side the final of his season's Italian Cup.
