(ANSA) - Rome, October 20 - After about a year in jail
Oscar Pistorius got out under supervised house arrest Monday,
two and a half years after shooting dead his girlfriend Reeva
Steenkamp.
The Olympic athlete is to serve out a five-year term for
the culpable homicide (manslaughter) on Valentine's Day 2013.
An appeals trial starts November 3 with prosecutors bidding
to change the conviction to murder.
