Roma overtake Lazio again to set up 'CL derby'

Cagliari relegated, Frosinone join Carpi in Serie A

(ANSA) - Rome, May 18 - AS Roma beat Udinese 2-1 at the Olimpico to leapfrog back over Lazio into second place and set up a face-off for Italy's second automatic Champions League slot behind title winners Juventus in next weekend's Roman derby.
    Lazio won 1-0 at Sampdoria to stay a point behind their city rivals in third place, which grants access to the CL preliminary round.
    With two matches to go, Juve have 83 points, Roma 67 and Lazio 66.
    Fourth-placed Napoli, who have a game in hand, are on 60.
    Cagliari joined Parma and Cesena in Serie B after 11 years in the top flight as Palermo beat them 1-0 at home.
    Frosinone, capital of the Ciociaria area south of Rome, earned entry into Serie A for the first time in their history, joining Serie B winners Carpi from Emilia-Romagna who will also enjoy their first spell in the top division.
