(ANSA) - Parma, May 6 - A first attempt to sell the Parma soccer club at bankruptcy auction failed to find a buyer Wednesday, as expected, and a new auction was scheduled for Tuesday, officials said.
The next auction will have a lower reserve price of 15 million euros, 20% less than the previous reserve price.
Should the second auction attempt also fail further reductions are envisaged, the bankruptcy administrators said.
Meanwhile a judge gave the green light for the provisional budget for the club until June 1, officials said.
Parma are bottom of Serie A with 16 points from 34 games, after having seven points docked for financial irregularities, and they doomed to be relegated to the second tier.
