(ANSA) - Rome, January 27 - Serie A bottom club Parma have said that they have terminated the contract of former Italy forward Antonio Cassano by mutual consent.
The move comes after the 32-year-old last week threatened to sue the club over six months of unpaid wages.
Cassano's home town club Bari, who are in the second tier Serie B, have been linked to the talented, colourful striker, whose career has been dogged by indiscipline and rows with coaches.
