(ANSA) - Carnago, January 23 - AC Milan owner Silvio
Berlusconi gave coach Filippo Inzaghi and his players a vote of
confidence during a visit to the club's training facility on
Friday.
According to recent media reports, former striker
Inzaghi's job could be on the line if he does not turn Milan
around soon after a spell of poor form.
Milan are eighth in Serie A with 26 points, 20 points
behind Juve, after losing 1-0 to Atalanta at the San Siro
Stadium on Sunday.
"The chairman and the whole club have total confidence in
your coach and in all of you," Berlusconi told the team,
according to ANSA sources.
"You mustn't get demoralized because I would never change
this squad with any other Italian squad".
