(ANSA) - Rome, September 22 - Italian Soccer Federation
President Carlo Tavecchio on Monday phoned AS Roma striker
Alessandro Florenzi to congratulate him for running into the
stands to hug his 82-year-old grandmother after scoring in the
Giallorossi's 2-0 win over Cagliari in Serie A on Sunday.
Tavecchio called it "a concrete gesture to bring soccer
closer to families".
Florenzi's gesture warmed hearts around the Stadio
Olimpico, except for the ref's, who booked him.
