(ANSA) - Turin, July 29 - Juventus coach Massimiliano
Allegri said Tuesday that Arturo Vidal will not be leaving the
Serie A champions in the closed season, amid reports Manchester
United are trying to lure the Chile midfielder away.
"Vidal is a player who I consider fundamental and he has
said he intends to stay," Allegri told a press conference.
"The ideal situation would be not just to keep Vidal, but
also to land other players.
"He is a fundamental and he wants to stay".
Manchester United are reportedly willing to pay Juventus a
transfer fee of 60 million euros and to give Vidal an annual
salary of around eight million euros.
