COVID: 36,632 new cases, 48 more victims

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 28 - There have been 36,632 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 48 more victims with the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
    That compares to 44,878 new cases and 64 more victims Tuesday.
    Some 198,918 more tests were done, compared to 243,421 Tuesday.
    The positivity rate is steady at 18.4%.
    Intensive care cases are up 11 to 139 and hospital admissions down 62 to 3,715.
    The currently positive are 459,373, down a couple of thousand on Tuesday.
    The recovered and discharged are 21,758,885, up a tad.
    The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 22,395,282, and the death toll 177,024. (ANSA).
