(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 22 - A liver transplant has saved a
57-year-old man who went into hepatic shock after heat stroke in
a first for Italy, Turin's Molinette Hospital said Wednesday.
The man's body temperature was 41 degrees when he was found
collapsed near burning stubble near Asti three days previously,
it said.
He was intubated and 'coptered to hospital where he is now
emerging from a coma. (ANSA).
