(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 10 - Italian astronaut Samantha
Cristoforetti on Friday welcomed President Sergio Mattarella
back aboard the International Space Station (ISS) in a fresh
video-link with the Quirinale presidential palace in Rome.
"Welcome back aboard!" said 'AstroSam', who is on her second
mission in the ISS.
Mattarella thanked Cristoforetti for bringing with her the
Italian flag he handed to her in January, which she had draped
over her shoulders during the video-link.
AstrSam's 'Minerva' mission is looking at the future in several
areas rangiing from olive oil to stress. (ANSA).
