(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 7 - Italy's COVID ICU occupancy rate is
steady at 15%, but up in 11 regions, the regional health service
agency AGENAS said Monday in its daily update.
It is only down in Piedmont, returning to 16%.
The 11 regions where it has risen, most of which recently showed
falls, are: Calabria (al 13%), Campania (10%), Friuli Venezia
Giulia (24%), Liguria (15%), Marche (21%), PA Bolzano (12%)
Puglia (14%), Sardinia (16%), Tuscany (17%), Umbria (9%), and
Veneto (14%).
The ICU occupancy rate is steady in Abruzzo (19%), Basilicata
(4%), Emilia Romagna (16%), Lazio (21%), Lombardy (12%), Molise
(8%), PA Trento (23%), Sicily (15%), and Val d'Aosta (14%).
The data were collected on Sunday.
The general ward COVID occupancy rate was also steady across
Italy, at 28%, AGENAS added.
It was up in three regions: Abruzzo, which showed the highest
rate (38%), Basilicata (26%), and Bolzano (28%).
It was down in five regions and autonomous provinces: Calabria
(34%), Liguria (37%), PA Trento (29%), Piedmont (28%),and Val
d'Aosta (31%).
It was steady in Campania (30%), Emilia Romagna (27%), Friuli
Venezia Giulia (37%), Lazio (32%), Lombardy (25%), Marche (32%),
Molise (23%), Puglia (26%), Sardinia (23%), Sicily (37%),
Tuscany (26%), Umbria (33%), and Veneto (23%). (ANSA).
