Giovannini calls for sustainable infrastructure

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 21 - Transport and Infrastructure Minister Enrico Giovannini on Thursday called for sustainable infrastructure saying it was a "very strong cultural choice, perfectly in line with the change of name which I decided to give to the ministry, referring to its full name "ministry of sustainable infrastructure and mobility".
    "We can no longer afford unsustainable development ot unsustainable infrastructure," he said at the conference 'Sustainable Infrastructure: A Common Good' organized by the Intesa Sanpaolo bank.
    "Those who know me know how hard I fought on the words we use: today we no longer speak of infrastructure, but of sustainable infrastructure". (ANSA).
