(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 7 - COVID-19 cases in Italy were down for
the fifth straight week in the week of September 29-October 5,
the GIMBE medical foundation said Thursday.
The cases fell by 9% in that week, it said.
COVID-related deaths were also "sharply down", the foundation
