(ANSA) - Rome, March 27 - The novel coronavirus, or COVID-19,
was not created in a laboratory, the head of Italy's Higher
Health Council, or CSS, Franco Locatelli said Friday.
He warned against imagining some sort of "fantasy
bio-terrorism" roots of the pandemic.
Locatelli noted that "we have clear evidence that it was not
possible to generate the SarsCoV2 virus in a laboratory," he
said.
