(ANSA) - Pisa, February 8 - A risk of becoming obese as
adults can be detected in children as young as 10, according to
a new Italo-American study.
The study for the first time found a genetic risk factor that
predisposes for obesity, in children that have a "saving"
metabolism.
The study by the University of Pisa and the National
Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of
Maryland was published in the Clinical and Experimental
