Over 1.5 mn hit by flu

(ANSA) - Rome, January 2 - Over 1.2 million Italians have been hit with the flu so far this year, the Higher Health Institute (ISS) said Wednesday.
    The number of those affected rose by around 225,000 in the last week surveyed, between December 17 and 23, the ISS said.
    Children under the age of fie have been most affected with an incidence of 11.1 cases per thousand, the ISS said.
