Another 2 quit ISS citing pressure

After president Ricciardi resigned Wednesday

(ANSA) - Rome, December 20 - Another two members of the Higher Health Institute (ISS) quit Thursday citing a lack of independence.
    Board member Giuseppe Remuzzi and scientific committee member Armando Santoro's resignations followed that Wednesday of ISS president Walter Ricciardi who said he wanted to return to research work.
    Sources said the pair resigned saying that the scientific independence of the body could not be guaranteed.
