2 Italians among emerging researchers

(ANSA) - Rome, September 21 - Two Italians have been named by Nature magazine among its 11 leading emerging researchers.
    Silvia Marchesan of Trieste university has developed a cheap and effective hydrogel to repair body tissues and release drugs.
    Giorgio Vacchiano of Milan's Statale University has paved the way for using mathematical models for forest management.
    The 11 who are "making their mark" and "have the world at their feet" were selected from 500 candidates.
