Anti-vaccine doctors face penalties

(ANSA) - Rome, July 20 - Doctors who advise parents against having their children vaccinated are breaking the medics' ethical code and risk facing disciplinary proceedings and penalties including being struck off from the profession, the federation of medical guilds (FNOMCEO) said on Wednesday.
    "We are ready to do our bit," said FNOMCEO Secretary General Luigi Conte as he presented a document on this issue.
    "Disciplinary proceedings have been conducted and are being conducted against doctors who advise against vaccines. It can go as far as striking off".
