Italian heart surgery performed with Google Glass

(ANSA) - Turin, March 6 - Google Glass was used in a cardiac surgery for the first time in Italy on Friday, at Molinette Hospital in Turin, ANSA sources said.
    The successful operation, which was a minimally invasive cardiac surgery to replace the aortic valve, was performed on a 70-year-old patient by Professor Mauro Rinaldi, M.D., who directs the Cardiac Surgery Division at the University of Turin.
