(ANSA) - ROME, APR 4 - Italy's regions on Thursday threatened
to take Premier Giorgia Meloni's central government to court
over health spending cuts.
The conference of regional governments called on the government
to scrap a part of its new decree on the National Recovery and
Resilience Plan (PNNR) that removes 1.2 billion euros allocated
them, prevalently for seismic-security works for hospitals, or
give a formal commitment to provide the funding in another way.
The conference said it would appeal to the Constitutional Court
if this does not happen. (ANSA).
