(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 13 - Ophthalmologist Domenico Lacerenza is
to be the centre-left governor candidate in next month's
Basilicata regional elections, the centre-left Democratic Party
(PD) and the leftwing populist 5-Star Movement (M5S) agreed
Wednesday.
The elections take place on April 21-22.
The centre-left coaltion is hoping to repeat last month's
whisker-thin win in Sardinia after losing this month's vote in
Abruzzo. (ANSA).
