(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 31 - Italy's spirit is solidarity,
altruism, and opening, President Sergio Mattarella said at an
award ceremony for the new holders of Orders of Merit of the
Italian Republic Friday.
"You have represented what is actually the true spirit of our
country, the real sense that Italy preserves and broadly
develops, of solidarity, altruism, and opening towards others,"
Mattarella told the new members of the order of merit at the
Quirinale presidential palace. (ANSA).
