(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 27 - Italian criminal lawyers on Monday announced a three day strike from April 19-21, the first major justice sector protest since Giorgia Meloni took over as premier last October.
Against what it called the government's "inertia on reforms" affecting justice, the Union of Criminal Chambers proclaimed three days of abstention from hearings from 19 to 21 April.
It is the first strong protest in the justice sector since the installation of the Meloni government after the September 25 general election. (ANSA).
