(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 17 - The head of Milan's Jewish community, Walker Meghnagi, last week received an envelope containing two bullets in his home post box, newspaper Il Giorno reported.
The envelope did not contain threats or any other messages, the paper said, citing various sources.
Meghnagi went to the police station to report the incident on Monday morning, it said.
Police said it is not yet clear where the threat came from.
Meghnagi has been at the centre of a row, with some Jewish community members calling for him to quit, after apologizing for not being able to attend a rally by the hard right Brothers of Italy (FdI) party. (ANSA).
