(ANSA) - ROME, APR 1 - Italy has impounded assets worth of a
total of "900 million euros" from Russian oligarchs as it
applies sanctions linked to Moscow's invasion of Ukraine,
Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said on Friday.
"Italy is complying with the international obligations on
sanctions with rigour and, therefore, it is also doing so with
the seizure of property in Italy of the listed people," he said.
The assets include 'Sailing Yacht A' belonging to Andrey
Igorevich Melnichenko, which had been in dry dock in the
northeastern Italian port for repairs since January. (ANSA).
