(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 23 - Economy Minister Daniele Franco said
Wednesday that the forecast for Italy's GDP growth this year is
set to be cut in a big way after Russian's invasion of Ukraine.
"Economic activity will slow and, for Italy, the revision of the
latest (growth) forecast of the European Commission (of 4.1% for
2022) could be significant and inflation will continue to rise,"
Franco told the Bloomberg Italy Capital Markets Forum. (ANSA).
