Widespread sense of responsibility in country - Mattarella

- ROME, NOV 29 - President Sergio Mattarella on Monday praised a widespread sense of responsibility during a ceremony in Rome to award the order of merit of the Italian Republic.
    "This ceremony awards the protagonists of gestures of solidarity and altruism, of sense of responsibility towards the community", Mattarella said.
    "But it also highlights widespread sensitivity for others that is embedded in Italy's civil life.
    "Without solidarity, there is no real community in which to live and cohabit.
    "Feeling part of a community gives confidence as well as security", the president concluded.
