(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 20 - Italian civil servants are set to be
able to work from home even when they are abroad, according to a
draft plan on contracts, sources said Wednesday.
The new draft contract eliminates a condition that homeworking
can only be inside national borders, they said.
The plan is aimed at transborder workers and those who accompany
their partners abroad.
Working fro home while abroad will be possible, the draft says,
as long as basic safety standards are met along with full
operational capacity of IT systems and protection of personal
data. (ANSA).
