(ANSA) - Turin, March 27 - Piedmont Governor Alberto Cirio
said Friday the northwestern Italian region was "near the end of
its tether" amid the coronavirus emergency.
"We desperately need ventilators, and intensive care beds are
heading for saturation point," he said.
