Green Italy has enormous potential-Conte

(ANSA) - Assisi, January 24 - Premier Giuseppe Conte said Friday that the need to transform the economy so development is sustainable is a big opportunity for Italy. "Italy's 'green' system has enormous potential for growth, including in terms of new jobs," Conte said at the presentation of the Assisi Manifesto to agree on action to combat the climate crisis. "It's the government's job to create an environment that is as favourable as possible for this to grow. "We introduced important measures that go in this direction in the 2020 budget law despite an extremely complex public-finance situation".
