75% of EU citizens back the euro -Draghi

(ANSA) - Rome, February 22 - European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said Friday that "75% of (EU) citizens are in favour of the euro" as he accepted an honorary law degree from Bologna University. "Overall European citizens appreciate the benefits of the economic integration that the European Union has produced and for years they have considered its greatest success to be the free circulation of people, goods and services, that is the single market," he said.
