(ANSA) - Turin, February 5 - The former spokesman of Turin
Mayor Chiara Appendino has been placed under investigation for
allegedly extorting money from the anti-establishment 5-Star
Movement (M5S) member, sources said Tuesday.
Luca Pasquaretta was Appendino's spokesman until last August.
His lawyer said Tuesday "he never threatened or extorted
anything from the mayor, from the personal standpoint their
relationship was good".
