Misappropriation charges agst Bossi KO'd

(ANSA) - Milan, January 23 - A Milan appeals court on Wednesday dropped charges of misappropriation of party funds against former Northern League leader Umberto Bossi and his son Renzo.
    Former Northern League treasurer Francesco Belsito's sentence was cut to one year and eight months, which is automatically suspended.
    The party, now simply the League, had sued Belsito but not the Bossis.
